Puffy White Clouds and Blue Skies

I love days like today!

Blue skies and puffy clouds.

It doesn't get any better.

I've worked outside in my yard

for the past couple days.

My daughter took this picture of our silos

Lindsay took this picture of our grain bins.

Tommorrow I'm going to Columbus to help

my son move into his new apartment.

He has been living in my daughter's apartment,

since she is home for the summer.

Tommy was feeling a little weird sleeping in a pink bedroom. LOL!!

Then we are going out to eat with my mom and dad

at Sky Way East. The food is really good.

Keeping Busy

I finished hooking this rug yesterday.

It is a Need'l Love design and

was a fun rug to hook.

What a hot summer we've had, I'm enjoying it though.

Thank goodness for air conditioning.

I go outside in the morning, feed my chickens and collect eggs.

Water flowers and pull weeds.

Then back in till it gets cooler.

The lillies in my gardens are blooming,they smell so good.

I have a few different varieties so they bloom awhile.

My hydrangeas are getting big clusters of flowers.

Golden Yarrow

Hot and humid!!!

It's not that bad compared to some

states that are having 100 degree heat.

My yarrow is blooming and I will be cutting it to dry.

I usually wait too long and the flowers start to turn brown.

The sweet peas are blooming well also.

Hydrangeas Blooming

We've had beautiful weather here in Ohio.

I have several different varieties of Hydrangeas bushes.

Our Hydrangeas started to bloom and it's the most flowers that

I've had on this variety.

Yesterday my mom, daughter and I moved my oldest son

out of his apartment. He lives in Columbus,Oh..

Actually he found an apartment that he can't move into till the first

week in August. So, we moved everything into a storage unit.

He will be living in my daughter's apartment till his is

available. I'm getting really good at moving though. LOL!

My Blue Bottle Tree

Blue bottle tree!

I have been wanting one of these for awhile.

Last summer I saw pictures of them on blogs.

This tree was made by a guy that was selling them at Quail Crest.

I have another one that I bought online earlier this spring.

It's not made as well as this one.

I'll post a picture of it later.

I bought all the bottles at thrift stores because I don't drink wine.

I requested my daughter save wine bottles for me,

she told her roommates.

They told her that their moms were making a tree also. LOL!

I took this picture of our puppy, Maddie, yesterday.

She was so little last summer.

Maddie is so good compared to last summer.

When you call her she comes and she's lovable like a Golden should be.

She does get into stuff from time to time but, doing well.
