I decided I better get my groceries today.
Tonight it is supposed to start snowing
and we are supposed to get 4 to 8 inches.
I finished hooking this rug this afternoon.
It is a Country Stitches pattern.
I listed it on Ebay tonight.
I kept hearing birds and thought there must be
some birds in the store.
Looked up at the ceiling. LOL!
Then I walked to the next isle and there they were, chicks!!
I have been wanting to get some peeps.
So, called my hubby and he said to get them.
We had everything we needed except a new heat lamp.
They are so cute!
Have a good evening!
Oh my... snow again? I so dislike this transition from winter into spring. We had very warm weather here for almost a week, and this morning a cold front found its way into our state. Tonight freezing temps. again! But at least not snow. Surely we will all get spring weather soon. It will be welcomed after a long hard cold winter. Take care and be safe. Love the rug. I want to learn how to hook, but have no clue where to begin.
ReplyDeleteLove your rug!!!

ReplyDeleteI love your rug! What fun to go shopping for chicks! Sorry you're getting more snow!
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Courtney
A darling rug Julie and those peeps are the cutest! We got more snow on Wednesday but it was around forty yesterday so the roads are dry again.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your nice comments!! They are cute but, hubby says they will grow up FAST! So I keep going and looking at them.
ReplyDeleteCute rug, Julie!!
ReplyDeleteGreat rug Julie!!! Love your peeps..I would love to have some.
ReplyDeleteJulie ~
ReplyDeleteOh, you brought back memories of my youth ~ a long, long time ago...lol. I lived on a small farm and the baby chicks used to be delivered via USPS. There were either 50 or a 100 in the box and the noise they would make! Hubby is so right ~ they don't stay cute for long.
LOVE the rug!
Hugs :)

Love the bunny and rooster rug! Is it a pattern that can be purchased?
ReplyDeleteHi julie,
ReplyDeleteI have purchased several of your rugs and I love them all. I bought a ton of wool hoping to get into rug hooking. However, I am not into it but would rather cross stitch. If I mailed all the wool to you, would you be interested in discussing a rug design using the wool and keeping the remaining wool for your wonderful rugs?
You can contact me at dgill3@ec.rr.com. Thanks so much.
