We woke up to lots of flooding this morning. It stormed all night.
Our house is on a hill so we don't have flooding.
I think the whole state of Ohio
got flooding.
This is the Gristmill by Mohican State Park.
This is flooding from Plumrun Creek. By the time I got the pictures the water had receded.
This is the Gristmill. I hope it didn't get damaged. They have restored it.

That's a lot of water! The playground looks more like a water-park. You might need a canoe soon.

Isn't it amazing to see how fast the water can rise (and damage it does) Hope everyone is safe and hope it all recedes quickly!
ReplyDeleteWow, lots of water. Glad your home wasn't affected by it. Sure hope there is no damage when it dries up. And I hope that is soon!
ReplyDeleteWow, flooding is always scary. Hope that it recedes soon and folks suffer no damage. We had lots of flooding damage in our neck of the woods last spring...pumping cellars for a week or so, not fun!
ReplyDeleteStay dry!

ReplyDeleteLots of flooding "up north" too. Many basements were flooded ~ I am so lucky to have only gotten a trickle and for that I am thankful. Luckily the rains ended early or it could have been much worse!
Hugs :)

I know this sounds weird Julie but I think your pictures are beautiful!!! I live in the land of sand, dry, hot and humid so looking at those pictures was nice. I hope though there wasn't too much damage for you folks.
