Crow in the Corn

Here we are September 6 and it's

hot and humid.

Summer is hanging on and

I won't complain because before

I know it will be snowing.

I finished hooking this rug, design by

 Notforgotten Farms.

The pumpkin was a gift from my daughter.

He sure is cute!

October Moon Rug

 One year from this weekend we will

be having a wedding!

Lindsay and Andrew will be getting married Sept.2, 2017.

We have a very good start, have

everything booked except

the caterer.

I hooked another

Halloween rug,

it is a Bird in the Hand design.

 

These are blooming now,

so we will use these

for the wedding next year.

They are Limelight Hydrangeas.

These are volunteer morning glories that look

like a scarf.

Yesterday I spent the day with this

Sunflower Rug

 My goodness summer is moving right along.

Fall is near... YIKES!

This is the latest rug I've hooked,

it is from Notforgotten Farms.

 We spend a lot of time sitting here.

 This is my daughter's house in Toledo,Iowa.

She just had it painted.

 It took them a month to finish it.

They also had all the floor boards

replaced. So they took everything apart

and put it back together.

A lot of work!!

Hot and Humid

 First of all I can't believe  haven't updated

my blog since July!!

We had only gotten a little rain the last couple months

so I was busy watering plants.

Last weekend we got lots of rain.

 

 This little pond is by my kitchen window.

The water lettuce is doing well.

 Gus drinking out of our fountain,

he thinks it's his.

Finished this rug. I bought the

pattern in Iowa 2 years ago and

just finished it. Its a Wooly Fox design.
