Kingwood Hookin

Last Saturday was Katie's annual hookin at Kingwood in Mansfield, Ohio. It was a beautiful day.This rug was hooked by Katie,it was behind the registration table. Everyone loved this rug, I had to duck down so many times so everyone could get a good picture of it. *It is a "Fiorente" Pattern from WoolNuts.*

The top rug is another Star Rug Company design- I LOVE it! The bee rug is Lori Brechlin design- both hooked by Rhonda.

It's HOT!!!

It was so hot today I couldn't go outside and work. So, I finished hooking this rug. One of the greenhouses I go to is having their annual sale. Today it was 40% off everything, tommorrow is 50% and each day they take off another 10%. Hope to go back later in the week. Can't go Saturday because I'm going to Kingwood to the hookin. Can't wait.

A New Cabin Roof

The guys have been busy putting a new roof on our cabin at the pond. The Boy Scouts built it years ago when they came here to camp. Last weekend they torn off the old roof when it was cooler. It looks so nice with the new metal roof. It should last for years now. Maddie and Gus were swimming in Plumrun Creek. It was hot today, I waded with them.
