Old Saltbox Rug

 It seems like Monday but, it's Tuesday.

I  have gotten most of my flowers and

vegetables planted.

I have seen many versions of this

rug, this is mine.

It is a design by Woolen Memories.

The picture isn't the greatest but,

my roses are blooming.

I think since we had such a mild winter

they are lots of flowers on them.

Memorial Day

Thanks all that have served our country.

I planted our vegetable plants today.

I like planting succulents,

they are so easy to grow.

 Our Azalea is blooming, it reminds

me of Grandma Butler.

She was in the garden club and

bought this when she went to the Cleveland

Home and Garden show.

 

My lady slipper is blooming also.

I was in the garden club and

one of the ladies gifted me this plant.

I cherish it.

 

Baby Shower for Baby B

My son and his wife are expecting

their 1st child in late June.

Today was the baby shower,

the guys were invited too.

They chose not to know

whether it's a boy or girl.



 Beautiful cakes and cupcakes.

 A beautiful fire.

 This is my mom , my sister and my DIL.

The food was so good.

I can't wait till

Baby B arrives!

I was going to go grocery shopping

but, I decided not to go today.

around. This is Grady and my oldest Gus.

 I bought this Hydrangea and dahlia

to add to some of the others

that I pulled out.

 

 Pickles,our kitten is always

close by too.

It was snowing this morning.

Can't Fool Mother Nature

 It is so cold and windy outside!

We will be complaining

about the heat next LOL!

I bought the pattern at

the Amish Hook In that I

attended in April.

It is by Terri Leamer.

I decided to bring flowers inside early.

Usually I'm outside in the dark tripping

on stuff.

I has been a beautiful day.

This is my latest rug.

 Lots of Hostas are up.

Last night we had hail,

I was hoping the hostas wouldn't get ruined.

They didn't get damaged.

My cat, Lou, rules the roost

around here.

He has our dogs scared of him,

they really respect him.

Morels

 My son, Tommy, found these Friday morning.

Later on in the day he went back in he woods

and found more.

 So today I went by myself to

look for more.

I didn't find 1!!!

I looked under Elms and all the places

that they are supposed to be.

 

This is Plumrun Creek,

that flows through our farm.

This is an old log trail,

there is a huge drop off.

It was scary driving through there.

I need to  get out more it is beautiful.
