I'm staying home.

The snow is pretty, white and fluffy.

Is It Spring Yet??

 It is amazing to me that my yard actually looked like this

a few months ago.

It is a frozen tundra today.

In the summertime I take pictures

of my flowers and think those don't look that good.

Then, about this time every year I look

through the  pictures and can't believe how pretty the flowers were.

                           We have a few months of winter before seeing green instead of gray.

Sitting outside soaking up the sun.

 

 

I will hibernate in our house till spring!! LOL!

A Lazy Sunday

I wanted to show you what I got for Christmas from Rhonda Thomas- My Glory Stars. She made this pinkeep, it will get alot of use. I love it. There is not much going on today at Butler Farms, that's the way I like it. The sun is shining and that always makes me feel good.

I am putting away Christmas stuff. This cloche was one of my favorite things this year. Lindsay bought me the Santa last year in Ireland. The bead lights on the tree are powered by a watch battery. I love the glass cloche and the riser. I bought the riser at Simple Goods last year and love it. Hope everyone has a great week!

Thinking of Spring

We survived the cold weather!

Oh my gosh was it cold, -40 wind chill.

Today it got in the 20's and it felt warm.

I was worried about my chickens,

didn't lose any.

 I have 4 hens and 1 rooster.

They are still laying eggs.

I hooked a Easter rug.

The colors look brighter than they actually are.

It is a design by Country Stitches.
