Good afternoon! Today is a grey day in Ohio, but these little flowers brighten my day. I didn't plant these, Tom's grandma lived here and she planted them. We've lived here for years and when these sweet little flowers bloom spring is very near. They get snowed on some years but, they keep blooming.
I love these little yellow flowers. A sweet lady in my garden club gave me them to me. She has since passed away, when they bloom I think of her. She was in her 90's and her husband lived to be over 100!! They had beautiful flower beds. They loved daylilies and every year they would count the blooms. Maybe that kept them sharp for such a long time.
I wanted to share a rug that I made for myself. This rug is a design by Need'l Love Threads,it's a penny rug. This was the second rug I hooked. It's huge it is about 2.5' x 3'. So I do have a few rugs that I haven't sold. Until next time... Julie

A Rug Redo
Holy Cow!! Thought I was going bonkers!! All day long my blog has been all out of order, now it's back. I didn't do a thing to fix it. Last fall I bought this primitive fence, at first just a few pieces. I went back and bought more, can't wait to put all up this spring.
I also redid this rug with different color, I listed it on Ebay. It was such a beautiful day in Ohio, but I hear we're supposed to get snow in a couple days. Makes things interesting. Until next time..Julie

What Flowers To Plant...
Even though it hasn't been a bad winter, I am looking forward to spring. Usually about this time of the year, I start the annual dreaming about flowers. I try to decide what flowers I'm going to plant and where. Next week I'm going to start some seeds. Before we know it spring will be here.
There is lots of stuff inside that I would like to get done before spring arrives. I have to admit I have been spending alot of time on Pinterst. It is like looking at an endless magazine. There are so many ideas,or about anything you're interested in. I am hooking a rug hope to get it finished by the weekend. Until next time!! Julie

Happy Valentine's Day
We don't do much for Valentine's Day, especially when it's on a Tuesday. We did order Chinese food.
I spent most of the day finishing up this rug. It is one of my favorite patterns by Country Stitches. I have a chocolate mold with the rabbit riding a rooster. She must of been inspired by the antique mold. Hope you have a great evening!

Organizing Wool
TGIF!! Here is the progress I've made filling my new/old cupboard with wool. I'm putting my wool pieces that are 1 yard or more. My fat quarters are in baskets here and there. I'm hoping to get it all organized, it's a never ending job. This cupboard has really helped. I do have a extra bedroom but, it's upstairs. My dream is to build onto our house and have studio. Ha!
Today and tommorrow we are supposed to get snow. Since we've hardly had any snow I'm looking forward to it- as long as I don't have to drive in it. So I'm headed out to go shopping before the snow comes. Have a great weekend!

Wool Storage
This past week my friend Chris and I went to Ault's to purchase wool. We ended up buying cupboards and wool. I haven't decided where I'm putting these and if I'm going to paint them. I know they will hold alot of wool, because they are about 7 ft. high. Never dreamed that I would buy cupboards there. LOL! The wool I bought was beautiful and got a few of my favorite wools that I haven't been able to find.
I have been hooking an order so, after I get that done I have some patterns ready to hook. Have a great Sunday!
