Autumn Acorn Rug
What a hot humid summer! Thank goodness we have AC or I would be one cranky gal. LOL! I have been busy weeding my flower beds since I never spread mulch this spring. I will be getting mulch next spring for sure. It just saves so much time.I still want to plant a tree but, went to the greenhouse and had to leave because it was so hot. I love picking out things to plant but, not fun in the heat.
I finished this rug today. It is a Buttermilk Basin pattern, I love the way it turned out. I have one more new one to hook that is adorable, it's also a fall design. http://cgi.ebay.com/Primitive-Autumn-Acorn-Pumpkin-Hooked-Rug-PRHG-/300450736029?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Folk_Art&hash=item45f442679d

A Boo Cat Pumpkin Rug
I just finished this rug this afternoon and listed it on Ebay. It is a Country Stitches by Brenda Gervais Design. It was a challenge to hook all those letters!! I like hooking lots of details though. I need to get another rug going tonight, I'm in the mood to hook.
I've stayed inside since it is hot and humid outside. In the mornings I go outside and get everything done when it is cooler. Have a great evening!

Gardening Pictures
It is summertime in Ohio!! It's HOT! I've been wanting to post pictures of my flowers so here they are. The summer is flying by!! I am still planting and will be till fall. I'm always moving flowers and I'm really looking forward to making some hypertufia troughs. Also, got the stuff to make concrete bee skeps. They are expensive to buy them already made. I've been hooking a rug and hope to finish this weekend. Have a great evening!

JackO-Lantern Rug
This is the first pumpkin rug I've hooked this year. It seems a little early but, I've been wanting to hook this pattern for awhile. I bought the orange striped reversible wool at the hookin at Kingwood from the Aults. I LOVE it! I found out that is very hard to get, sure wish I had more of it. This is a Maggie Bonanomi Need'l Love Book Haunted Threads pattern. I really like the way it turned out. Have a great evening!!

Happy 4th!!
Happy 4th of July!! Our fireworks were last night, they were really nice. We went on top of a hill on our farm and could see them perfectly.
I planted this fairy garden yesterday. I went to Berlin to a store, Country Gatherings, where they sell plants and accessories for fairy gardens. All of their ideas are inspiring but, expensive LOL!! My flowers are doing good, I hope to post some pictures this week.
I finished this rug today and listed it on Ebay. It is a Kindred Spirits design. I have hooked this rug before but, I did the background in a light background. I like the dark background better. Enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend!!

Hooking At Rhonda's House
Today we met at Rhonda's house to hook. This is the group of girls that hook at Katie's. It was nice getting together since we stopped hooking for the summer. Everyone brought a covered dish, the food was so good. Everyone was there except for Katie, she had to work. This first picture is Rhonda, her fireplace is beautiful. She is always telling me how she's staying home and not leaving. Now I see why, her house is beautiful.
Rhonda makes quilts also.
Stacie is hooking a welcome rug.
Karen and Becky
Phyllis was working a rabbit rug.
Hopefully tommorrow I can get some garden pictures posted. Have a great evening!
