Pumpkins and a Fairy Garden

Whew! is it humid outside.

This is the latest rug I've hooked, the

I have had a lot ask where to buy it.

I put together a Halloween fairy garden today.

Getting in the mood to start fall decorating.

 This morning when I was letting my chickens out, I

noticed our zucchini.

It was planted very late.

I missed one and it was huge.

That's ok, I will make a

cake or bread.

Then I noticed the morning glories were

blooming and going up the blue spruce.

Looked like garland.

A Busy Weekend!

 The weather has been gorgeous,

you couldn't ask for anything better.

Lindsay, her boyfriend and dog, Monte

arrived home from Iowa Wednesday evening.

We had a nice time with them.

They are on their way back home today.

They brought home this pump for me, I love it.

 A year ago today, Tommy and Jordan got married.

Congrats!

A Hot Day!

 It has been hot here, the way it should be

this time of year.

Last year I cut all the hydrangeas for Tommy's wedding.

The name of them are Lime Light.

Dahlias Blooming

 I am loving these summer time days!

Rearranged my front porch.

By the time I get everything  

in the right place, it will be winter.

 Lots of our dahlias are blooming.

Japanese Beetles are really bad here.

 I bought this hanging basket at the greenhouse.

I love the color combination.

Gus was getting a drink out of the pond, he's getting old.

I love sunflowers. This one was a volunteer.

It is probably 8 foot tall.

I think this has been the

longest stretch without rain!

I have been watering flowers,

they really needed sun.

My neighbor gave me the cute little nest.

I love nests.

 Yesterday I went to Berlin with a friend.

She wanted to pick up a light, which is

awesome.

We happened to see this old sink in

the original cabinet.

The sink is cast iron.

We both thought fairy garden when we saw it.

 I got the little dog house last week.

 

Mr. Grady was looking through the porch.

 Thought he was looking a me, no a cat.

Meet Sweet Bea

 Happy Monday!

The weather is lovely in Ohio.

Think it might rain this afternoon but,

the rest of the week is supposed to be good.

This is my latest rug.

It is by Maria Barton- Start Rug Company.

A friend bought the pattern and I hooked it for her.

 Most of my flowers are doing well.

The hydrangeas are good this year.

I noticed there is a sock on the table.

My dogs are always grabbing stuff

going out the door.

 This is a new variety of sunflower

for me.

 Last week I bought this at a garage sale.

It came out of a barn.

It is pretty dirty, so I need to clean

it up before I bring it in the house.

I have been wanting to put a fairy garden in

one of our old water troughs.
