Yellow Ware Rug
It has been awhile since I have updated my blog. As usual the time has flown by. We celebrated our 31 wedding anniversary the 14th. The weather here has felt like I'm in Florida!! 80's LOVE IT!! I think the heat wave is over now for awhile but, I enjoyed it!! I was out in my flower beds and mowed I got a good start. We'll see what happens, I am thinking a snow storm LOL!! I have been hooking too. This rug is a Threads That Bind pattern. I love the way it turned out. Yellow Ware is a favorite of mine. Have a great evening!

It's a Crock!
I'm liking the 60 degree weather, spring is coming. I have been spending alot of time on Pinterest, there are so many ideas!! I have a list a mile long of things I want to do in my gardens this year. Hope to start getting busy starting seeds.
Today I finished this rug. It is a design by Primitive Pieces by Lynda-It's a Crock. I've had the pattern for awhile, don't know why I waited so long to hook it. I love the way it turned out. It's on Ebay. Hope you have a great evening, until next time.. Julie

March 1st
March came in like a lamb here in Ohio today. The birds are singing outside like it's spring. Yesterday, Feb.29th Country Craft Cupboard in Berlin had a special sale. If you were the first 29 customers you got 29% off your entire purchase!! We were the first ones, there were about 7 Amish ladies behind us. It was fun!!!
Today I hooked all day and stayed off my computer. I finished this rug, it is an adaption of a Kathy Schmitz design. It was a fun rug to hook. I did list it on Ebay tonight. I also got a couple other patterns drawn up on linen so, I can use up all this wool I've been buying. Until next time... Julie

Blooming Flowers At My House
Good afternoon! Today is a grey day in Ohio, but these little flowers brighten my day. I didn't plant these, Tom's grandma lived here and she planted them. We've lived here for years and when these sweet little flowers bloom spring is very near. They get snowed on some years but, they keep blooming.
I love these little yellow flowers. A sweet lady in my garden club gave me them to me. She has since passed away, when they bloom I think of her. She was in her 90's and her husband lived to be over 100!! They had beautiful flower beds. They loved daylilies and every year they would count the blooms. Maybe that kept them sharp for such a long time.
I wanted to share a rug that I made for myself. This rug is a design by Need'l Love Threads,it's a penny rug. This was the second rug I hooked. It's huge it is about 2.5' x 3'. So I do have a few rugs that I haven't sold. Until next time... Julie

A Rug Redo
Holy Cow!! Thought I was going bonkers!! All day long my blog has been all out of order, now it's back. I didn't do a thing to fix it. Last fall I bought this primitive fence, at first just a few pieces. I went back and bought more, can't wait to put all up this spring.
I also redid this rug with different color, I listed it on Ebay. It was such a beautiful day in Ohio, but I hear we're supposed to get snow in a couple days. Makes things interesting. Until next time..Julie
