Finished Rugs

I finally finished the crock rug. I had to dye most of the wool because
I wasn't happy with the wool I had.
It's a fun rug to hook though.
It is Marlene Troyer ~Perennial Blessings.

I also finished this heart rug.
The reds were all dyed by me .
I listed both of these rugs on Ebay.
It has warmed up in Ohio,it was 36.
What a heat wave!
I have been freezing!
Have a great evening.

  1. Too funny! I just left a comment on your last post about your crock rug. Love it! I like the idea of taking these everyday items and hooking a still life out of them. Super job!

  2. Love your new letter style!!! Love your rugs, too!!

  3. Julie ~
You dyed up some great wools! Love all the colors.
We didn't get quite that warm in northern Ohio today and it seemed very damp and dreary.
    Hugs :)

  4. Wow, love the colors of your rug. I used a red for my background but yours is wonderful. I just might have to try it again. I too love the new font that you are using. Is it from blogger or did you get it from another source! It great. I really like it. hope you have a good night. Enjoy our heat wave. Lisa

  5. Wow! They are both gorgeous!!!! The colors in the crock rug look perfect! And, who can resist that deep red heart!

  6. Both rugs are beautiful. Love the soft colors in the crocks.
The new look of the blog looks great too!

  7. I love all the wonderful colors! Great Job on your hooked rugs! I need to do something with a heart in it now...thanks for inspiring me...

  8. The colors you used for the crock rug are so delicious and drab - great job with the dyeing - and I love the pattern itself.

  9. You always make the most wonderful rugs. The heart looks perfect in that chair.
