Fairy Gardens and A Rug

This has been a weird summer for me.
Usually I have fairy gardens planted in May but, not this year.
I just put them together.
On the bright side, by this time the plants have taken over.
This is one of my favorite designs by Country Stitches.
 A farm fairy garden.
A simple one.

I had bought the box made out of barn siding to
put a fairy garden in. I didn't want to put soil in it so
I lined it with plastic.
Can you tell I'm addicted to Fairy gardens?
It is fun collecting the little objects for them.
 Have a great day!

Happily Ever After!!

Summer has arrived,  just in time for
the poor kids in school.
Tommy and Jordan are now married.
It was the best wedding I've ever been to.
The ceremony was perfect.
They had an artist make all the chalk board signs.
 A view from the balcony.
I did all the flowers with help from my friend , Chris.
 The table settings were beautiful.

Lindsay and I put together a fairy garden for them.
There was an artist there for the whole
time at the reception. He was wonderful.
Everyone got their pictures drawn, so cool!!
Isn't this so cute!
 Have a good evening!

A Week Away!

The wedding is next Saturday!!
I'm so excited!
This was handmade by my DIL to be
out of paper.
She is so talented.
This is the bouquet she is throwing.
Too bad I can't catch it. LOL!!
 I know it's a jungle out there.

These are the rugs I hooked for PHM August update.
Fall is coming.
Have a good day!

Happy Hump Day!

I bought this little chair out in Iowa.
It is the perfect size for a little rug.
This is the lastest rug I've hooked.
It is a design by Susan Hart.
My son, Tommy, is getting married in couple weeks.
We can't wait, the summer has went by fast.
This spring I bought this tricycle.
I have been wanting one for a long time.

You can see I like old child size toys!
We've had lots of rain here.
So that means lots of mowing!!
Hope you have a great Wednesday!

Iowa Move

Here it is, my daughter's new home.
Tom and I left last Tuesday to move Lindsay and her dog, Monte
to Toledo, Iowa.
Lindsay and I went out to Iowa in June.
We looked at 10 houses in 1 day and she fell in love with this one.
She put in an offer and they accepted.
Lindsay started her new job yesterday.
We are happy she and Monte have a
nice home to live in. It makes the move alot easier.
We found out that Lindsay is the 5th person to own this house.
It has fence around and this is the beautiful gate.
Monte has settled in, I'm so glad she has him to
keep her company.

This is the living room.
It has the original pocket doors.
The house has the original lighting fixture that are so pretty.
We were only gone 4 days.
It is hard for both of us to leave the farm at the same time.
Everything was fine when we got home. Thanks to
my son, Danny and our friend, Steve.
