1st Christmas Rug of 2011

It's getting to be that time of year!! I'm starting early to prepare for the holidays, guess I'm in the mood. This rug was really fun to hook, it is a design by Country Stitches. It really looks old, I used alot of dyed wool. I listed it on Ebay this afternoon. Friday and Saturday I spent dyeing wool. I got alot of great colors for some holiday rugs.
We have gotten a few hard frosts so our growing season is over. I sure feel bad for all of you that got SNOW!! I'm not ready for that. I'm still working on organizing stuff and will take a picture of my cupboard.
Have a nice Sunday!!

  1. Love that Santa rug. I want so badly to learn how to do this. Yours is beautiful. We had our first frost this morning. Looks like winter is on its way. Have a great day.

I'm sure glad Ohio has not gotten any snow and I hope winter is not going to be nearly as bad as has been predicted!
Your Santa rug does look wonderfully old!
    Hugs :)
