Snow Daze
I took this picture of our patio. You can see how high the snow is, there is a table and chair.
Snow snow and more snow!! Next Tuesday we are supposed to get more. It is pretty, it looks like frosting on the trees. It took my husband and son all day yesterday to dig out. We own a skid steer so we can move snow fast, we just have a long lane. My husband even went through the yard from the house to the barn and made a path. Why not? Our 3 legged Golden Retriever can get around easier.
I finished this rug yesterday, I have been working on it all week. It is a Brenda Gervais needle punch pattern that I hooked. It has alot of detail and wasn't boring to hook. I hope to list it on Ebay tonight. I'm starting a new Need'l Love pattern tonight.http://shop.ebay.com/plumruncreek/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p4340
Hope everyone has a great week!

ReplyDeleteYou all really did get dumped on didn't you. We have a storm coming that is suppose to bring us about 6 inches. That is plenty for me.

Sue,
ReplyDeleteThe wool is a big plaid with burgandy, greens, charcoal. If you are familiar with Heavens To Betsy?? She sells a wool called Lumberjack, it's like that plaid. She's out of it right now but she said she would be getting it in April.
The snow looks oh so lovely, but I know first hand that looks can de deceiving. We here in Maine are finally spotting patches of grass here and there. Your rug is lovely and the color choices oh so pretty.
