First Rug of 2013

It is a beautiful sunshiny day here in Ohio, lots of snow on the ground. I have been doing laundry for my daughter, Lindsay, who is heading back to college tonight. I will be glad to get back to our regular routine. Still have to get Christmas stuff put away, think I'll probably wait till Monday. I finished this hooked rug, it's a Country Stitches design. I always love to hook Patriotic rugs. This one was fun to hook, used my new no. 9 cutter. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

  1. Hello Julie...I just recently joined your blog and I really enjoy everything about your blog. I especially love this beautiful rug. You are so talented and I sure wish I could hook rugs. Is it difficult to learn? This pattern would go so perfect at my back door. I love folkart...my house is filled with it. I'm off to read more of your blog and to enjoy all of your photos and beautiful hand work that you create. Have a good day.
