Autumn Acorn Rug

What a hot humid summer! Thank goodness we have AC or I would be one cranky gal. LOL! I have been busy weeding my flower beds since I never spread mulch this spring. I will be getting mulch next spring for sure. It just saves so much time.I still want to plant a tree but, went to the greenhouse and had to leave because it was so hot. I love picking out things to plant but, not fun in the heat.
I finished this rug today. It is a Buttermilk Basin pattern, I love the way it turned out. I have one more new one to hook that is adorable, it's also a fall design. http://cgi.ebay.com/Primitive-Autumn-Acorn-Pumpkin-Hooked-Rug-PRHG-/300450736029?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Folk_Art&hash=item45f442679d
Have a great evening!

  1. Ok gotta ask how fast do you hook! are these full rugs or table mats? I agree with you about the heat. It has been so much better here the past few days so I was able to get a little done on my rug.

    Very sweet rug.
Yes, it is HOT! My a/c doesn't work and there have been days when I was sure I was going to melt like the wicked witch of the west! We got a little much needed rain this evening. I hope we get more. I've been trying to work in the yard. I am constantly moving things around and buying more. Trouble is, every time I dig a hole, I am digging up my bulbs! Darn!
    Pug hugs :)

  3. What a great looking rug! I sure wish autumn would get here already.. been too hot to be outside here too. AC's can't keep up (window units)... another month, or so, I guess... :-)

  4. Another wonderful piece! Might as well keep at it if you are stuck inside because of the heat. Looking forward to seeing your next one!
