JackO-Lantern Rug

This is the first pumpkin rug I've hooked this year. It seems a little early but, I've been wanting to hook this pattern for awhile. I bought the orange striped reversible wool at the hookin at Kingwood from the Aults. I LOVE it! I found out that is very hard to get, sure wish I had more of it. This is a Maggie Bonanomi Need'l Love Book Haunted Threads pattern. I really like the way it turned out. Have a great evening!!

  3. Cute rug. You are smart to hook a season ahead. I always wait to long to start the seasonal rugs.

  4. That pumpkin rug is to die-for! You did a wonderful job, I've been wanting to do something with pumpkins in it too, but haven't found anything but then I haven't found any orange wools either....

  7. I'm ready to start a new rug and I think it will also be a pumpkin! I did one a few years ago, but sold it and hated my self ever since. They're never as much fun to make the second time, but I really loved it so might as well whip it up in July and KEEP it this time!
Have others of you sold your rugs and then immediately regretted it?

  8. Looks great, Julie! Never too early for pumpkins... I've been thinking about pumpkins for 2 plus weeks now... I think it's just because I wish it would cool down a bit already... Have a great day!
