Finally Finished A Patriotic Rug
Ahh Spring!! It's here but, we had 3 inches of snow last night. The sun is shining and the snow is melting fast. I have been cleaning the leaves and debris out of my flower beds. I noticed the weeds are starting to grow also.
Today I finally finished this rug. It seemed to take FOREVER to finish. I didn't have enough wool that I wanted to use for the background. I ended up mixing a couple different wools, which turns out better anyways. I'm going to list it on Ebay tonight. The pattern is a With Thy Needle & Thread Country Stitiches.
This week was busy. Lindsay left at the beginning of the week for Panama City Florida for spring break. I switched cars with her because my car is new. I didn't want to worry about 4 girls broke down on the side of the highway. The girls got down there and the will be coming back Sunday. Tom's birthday was this week also. So I did alot of baking and cooked alot this week. Hope everyone has a nice weekend!!
