~Starting Seeds~

The seeds that I planted are starting to sprout. The seedlings have been slow to sprout because it's not very warm in the barn. We do have heat in the milk house but, it's still not like a greenhouse. I planted seed that I saved from last year's plants and I bought seeds too. I do buy flats of flowers but, growing some of my own flowers saves money.
Last year I didn't have time to start seeds because it was Lindsay's senior year in high school. We were busy going to her softball games, getting ready for prom and graduation. So I'm very excited to start gardening this spring.

  1. I'm afraid I have waited too late to start any seeds this year. I'll just throw then on the ground if it ever warms up and STAYS warm. We have been having 70 degree weather and then two nights ago had a hard freeze! That's the Missouri Ozarks for you. It's beautiful but unpredictable.
