I haven't hooked for a month, now I'm really in the mood to make a rug. So yesterday I dyed wool all day. The colors came out very well and I am excited about hooking with it.
Great work Julie!!! I really like that sandy plaid in the second pic all the way to the left! One day I will be brave enough to try dyeing! Today I just felted some as is wool... baby steps... LOL! ;-)
Julie ~ LOVE your dyed wool! Such great primitive colors. I'm sure you'll come up with a great new project. One of these days, I hope try dyeing some wool myself.

I've been dyeing cotton aprons!!! Please check out my blog to see them. That was real fun!!! I did them in a casserole pan. Your wool is beautiful.
