Rainy Days and Mondays.......

It's been raining off and on all day today so, I finished this
rug I have been working on.
This is a Need'l Love Threads pattern, a favorite of mine.
I still don't have everything done in my flower beds.
Spreading mulch has slowed me down, it saves
me from alot of weeding later on though.

I have planted 4 fairy gardens.
This is one I especially like. I bought
this wagon at a auction a long time ago.
I'll post pictures later in the week.
The lighting wasn't very good today.
Have a great evening!

Garden Rug

WHEW! Made it through Memorial Day weekend.
It was  busy here but, fun.
I've got lots of work to do in my flower beds.
I stopped planting last week because we had frost 2 nights in a row.
I covered up what I had planted, no damage, just a house full of flats of flowers.
I have been working on this rug, it took awhile because there is lots of detail.
It is a Notforgotten Farm Pattern from an OOP booklet.

We got our new air conditioning installed today!!
I'm really excited, we've needed a new one for a long time.
Just in time for the 90 degree weather we are supposed to have
later this week.
I only got 1 lady slipper bloom this year.
I love this plant, I am thankful that the plant survived the winter.
Hopefully, we will get more blooms next year.
Have a great Tuesday!

Happy Mother's Day

Frost warning!
So I'll be outside gathering up all my flowers
bringing them inside.
I'm so glad I didn't plant any of them.
I was very tempted to though.
My son, Tommy, got me this for Mother's Day.
It is a Bottlebrush Buckeye Tree.
I love it!
I had a very nice weekend.
Lindsay and Tommy came home for the weekend,
both live in Columbus.
I did spend time with my other son, Danny.
Unfortunately at the ER.
His girlfriend was very sick,so glad she went.
She was very dehydrated.
Ashlee is lots better today.
Have a wonderful Mother's Day!
