Planning Flower Beds

I have been getting lots of seed catalogs.
Before we know it spring will be here.

It has taken years to get my flower beds
planted with perennials.
The outside looks like a frozen tundra today!

I like to get to the greenhouses early to get

the big flowered geraniums.

They sell out fast.

I love the red begonias I planted in our

window box.  They are so easy to grow!

Last summer I redid my pond.
I completely dissembled it and
redid the whole thing.
It looks 10000 times better.
I put it in 20 years ago.

I redid the rocks.

Love planting lots of petunias.

When I look outside in the winter, it

is a miracle all the plants grow back LOL!

  3. Julie, your gardens and pond are so lovely. All your work is evident. The pictures are all gorgeous. Our growing season is very short. Takes half the summer for flowers to take off good. I love the big red geraniums too. Have a wonderful weekend dreaming of your gardens! Hugs, Lori

  4. Absolutely gorgeous garden. Spring can't come soon enough for me, I can't see the ground with all the snow.

  6. I am so glad I took pictures of summer when it is winter and nothing is growing.
Your gardens are lovely and so is your pond. Your flowerbeds are just perfect. I bet they are buried under snow though, but I bet soon it will be spring.
