Road Trip to Iowa

 The last day of June.
It has been a busy month for me.
We have had alot of rain, so it taken me longer
than usual to get all my flowers planted.
I have been working on my patio.
Still have a little more to do.

This is one of my favorite times of the year.
I have been outside alot, it's been hot and humid.
Not going to complain about it after last winter!!

We have had this pond for 20 years,
I completely took it apart and redid it.
It looks so much better, it was so overgrown.

 I replanted with succulents.

My birthday was last week and this is what I got
from my friend, Chris. Love them
This morning Lindsay and I left our house
at 6:00 A.M. for Iowa.
We are here but, ran into a terrible storm.
Tornado warnings etc..
Pulled over on the side of the highway we couldn't see.
Stormed again when we got to our hotel, the hail was the huge!
It's been an adventurous day.
Tomorrow we will be house hunting.

  1. Love the old wash tubs, great gift....silly weather everywhere, glad your safe, Francine.

  2. What wonderful plantings! I would be outside enjoying them most of the day. Love love love the tubs.

  3. Love your pond and flowers, so pretty! Hope you had a great birthday!

  4. Good luck in Iowa. Your flowers look nice! We had a terrible storm this morning at 4:30 and it came back on at 8:15 this evening. Janice
