Turkey Time????

Good Morning! It's a another beautiful day in Ohio. I think we are going to pay for it in a couple days though.

No more puppies! We took Maddie in to get her spayed Tuesday morning. I picked her up yesterday morning, she's doing well. We found a wonderful home for Makena. Clint and Jessica, Clint has been friends with my son since they were babies. They are expecting a baby in January and just bought a new home.

I just finished this turkey rug for Sharon. It is a design from an out-of-print booklet from Notforgotten Farm. Spruce Ridge Studios has the design though. Time is flying,as usual, can't believe this next month is Thanksgiving.

Last Cutting of Hay

It was so pretty out today. Our tree is dropping it's leaves fast. I'm hoping for some windy days so, I don't have to do alot of leaf raking.
The guys were harvesting our last cutting of hay. Grady and Maddie were watching.
I've been busy trying to keep up with 2 puppies. The puppy on the right is the one we are keeping, Grady. The puppy on the left is going to a good home this weekend. I'm probably going to cry when they pick her up. She is the sweetest. I am almost done hooking a pilgrim rug. Until next time...

The Rural Society Antique and Garden Show

On Friday, I attended The Rural Society Antique and Garden Show. I had never heard about it but, saw it on Facebook. My friend, Chris, went with me. The farm wasn't that far for us to travel, about 20 minutes to Mt. Vernon, Ohio. These barns are what we saw in line waiting for the show to start. We were really surprised when we saw what was behind the barns.
Maybe you will recognize the farm it was in Country Living Magazine.
Aren't the nesting boxes great?
There were vendors around the back of the barn and under the bank barn. There were lots of great vendors.
The greenhouse
We had a piece of raspberry white cake, it was really good. Her cakes were displayed so nice.
This is their house, outdoor eating area.
I can't wait to go to the next show in May!
