Black Pumpkin and A Black Cat

I'm settling into the fact that it is September. I do like the cooler weather of fall, it's what comes after. I won't think about it. Ha! Anyways, I bought this pattern at a hookin this year. It is a design by Maria Barton-Star Rug Company. I have always admired the same rug that Lori Rippey has in her home. It was fun to hook.
Our cat, Lou, has been setting boundaries with our new puppy, Grady. Lou rules the roost around here. Our Golden Retrievers are scared of him. I had to take a picture, he didn't like it. Have a great day!

  1. I love that rug, Julie! I almost bought it at Sauder...still might order it. I love the colors you have chosen. Cats are so funny...so territorial..Lou better be trying to get on the puppy's good side....puppy will be a lot bigger in no time!

I love coming here and seeing all your creations - such fun.
Oh I can just see the poor puppy cowering to Lou...they do think they rule the roost. But I guess they do - ours do!
