Bee Skeps!

Last night the low was 10

and we have snow on the ground.

We were planning on getting the

ground ready for our Pumpkin patch.

That is not happening.

I bought these Horn Books in Berlin

last week.

Hooked bee skeps to put on them.

Pineapple Rug

 I have had a few requests for pineapple rugs.

This is  my adaption of Bird In the Hand Primitives pattern.

I am hoping for sunny skies but, I think'

it is supposed to snow.

This is why I don't like to take

a cruise or go to Florida in March.

It is an emotional roller coaster for me.

When you come back it is

usually cold and grey.

So I will keep busy!!



Wool Rug

 I have become very appreciative

of photographers.

It is an art.

I really love looking at everyone's pictures

on blogs.

There are a lot of talented people out there.

 

Everyone that I talk to about photography classes

say they just end up setting their camera on auto.

So, I will keep practicing.

I love my camera though,

It is one of the best things I've bought.

 

 

It is crazy.

 These days we have to be chefs,

IT people, Interior Decorators,

Photographers, Landscapers, etc.

It is a lot different than when I was younger! WHEW!



Farm Rug

 I am patiently waiting for nice weather.

I have spring fever.

Today I even bought mulch!!

This is my latest rug, it reminds

me of Iowa.

We didn't see sheep last week, just

cattle. Lots of farms.

This pattern is from Star Rug Company- Maria Barton.

These little spring flowers are

popping up.

They are struggling.

It's Spring

 

It says on the calendar that it's spring.

I hope it gets a little warmer.

Last Sunday Tom and I

took the dogs and headed to Iowa.

We stayed at Lindsay's.

It was 85 one day!!
