Happy Easter! The weather was so nice today, if it wasn't so windy we could of eaten Easter dinner outside. We went to my mom and dad's, the food was so good as always.
I can't believe how fast my chicks have grown. I haven't had them for a week and they have doubled in size. They are so cute and getting their feathers. We have 24 chicks- all females, I haven't decided if I want to get a rooster. I do love the sound of roosters. I'm giving a few of them to a friend. I really like collecting eggs. Last summer I baked alot of Angel Food Cakes.
My husband has put in 130 acres of oats. We will chop it for the heifers. Even though there is so much to do, Spring is my favorite time of the year!! Until next time... Julie
