Pumpkin Time!!

It is hard to believe it's the last day of September.
October will be a busy month.
This is the latest rug I've hooked.
I have seen the design and I loved it.
It's from Need'l Love.
 This is Mr. Banks.
My DIL likes this kitten, don't know when she is going
to take him to her house. LOL!
 More pumpkins that I got.
Another Halloween village.
Happy Tuesday!

Pumpkin Pickin

Finished hooking this little rug from
Star Rug Company-Maria Barton.
It was fun to hook, I didn't have
the awesome buttons she used on hers.
I used the Quill technique, the wool is orange and black.
My DIL and I went pumpkin shopping.
We got all different kinds.
I love stacking them!
Have a great day.

Another Beautiful Weekend

We had another beautiful weekend. Saturday I went to Malabar Farm
for Heritage days with my sister and daughter in law.
Then went to get apples and pumpkins.
I hooked this rug for my son and daughter in law.
It is a Betsy Reed style rug, my first
wide stripped rug.
My sister and her son made me this birdhouse.
It is made from barn siding from one of our barns.
I love it!!
I have been decorating for fall.
Have a great week!!

The 1st Day of Fall

 Today is officially the first
day of first of fall.
Time to get out the fall decorations!
This is the latest rug I've hooked. It
is a design by Country Stitches.
Trapped LOL!
We feed the farm cats
and Maddie likes to eat the cat food.
So we put this fireplace screen in front of the
cat food so she couldn't get to it.
Well, I went outside and she got the food.
Caught in the trap! LOL!
Have a great day!!

A Beautiful Sunday

It was a beautiful day in Ohio.
The blue sky and puffy clouds.

This is the across the road in front of our house.
I haven't been up there for a long time.
It is a hike up to the top.

My son built bluebird boxes
we have them all over our farm.
Happy Sunday.

Lazy Saturday

Today we have been watching college football, then golf.
We like Rory and always cheering for Jason Day.
Anyways, kinda of a boring day.
I did finish hooking this rug.
It is a design by Susan Hart.
We are having sweatshirt weather,
that's ok.
No freezing temperatures please. LOL!

Fall Asters

This year I bought Asters instead of mums.
I am hoping when I plant them they come back next year.
I finished this rug today, it is a design by Notforgotten Farms.
As I've said before, I like child's toys.
Bought this at Quail Crest last week, love it.
Happy Tuesday!

Fall Rugs

Yesterday I went to Quail Crest Herb Fair.
I got there early and glad I did because it was pouring
down rain when I left.
I was soaked but, it was worth it.
Found some treasures!!
I hooked both rugs using one of my favorite
orange and black plaids.
The sad thing is, I can't buy the wool anymore.
Both rugs are patterns from Lori Brechlin- Notforgotten Farms.
The weather is nice here, everything is about 2 weeks behind.
Usually corn silage is being harvested but, late this year.
Which is fine with me!!
We need a couple more weeks for our crops to be ready,
planted late this spring.
Happy Sunday!

Happy Labor Day

It seems like Sunday to me, instead of Monday.
September 1st!!
There is lots going on this month.
Lots of fall shows.
Since the weather isn't the greatest today
I finished this rug.
It is an adaption of a Tonya Robey pattern.
Happy Labor Day!
