Road Trip to Iowa

 The last day of June.
It has been a busy month for me.
We have had alot of rain, so it taken me longer
than usual to get all my flowers planted.
I have been working on my patio.
Still have a little more to do.

This is one of my favorite times of the year.
I have been outside alot, it's been hot and humid.
Not going to complain about it after last winter!!

We have had this pond for 20 years,
I completely took it apart and redid it.
It looks so much better, it was so overgrown.

 I replanted with succulents.

My birthday was last week and this is what I got
from my friend, Chris. Love them
This morning Lindsay and I left our house
at 6:00 A.M. for Iowa.
We are here but, ran into a terrible storm.
Tornado warnings etc..
Pulled over on the side of the highway we couldn't see.
Stormed again when we got to our hotel, the hail was the huge!
It's been an adventurous day.
Tomorrow we will be house hunting.

My First Mermaid Rug

This is the rug I hooked for the June Primitive Handmades Mercantile update.
I have never hooked a mermaid.
The design is an adaption of Misi Axel- 1890 Gables House Goodes pattern.
It has been hot and humid here in Ohio.
It is supposed to be less humid, hope to get out to work in my yard.
Still have flowers to plant.

Time Flies When It's Spring

Oh My!! I haven't updated my blog in awhile!
I have been planting lots of flowers.
Busy with my kids.
Great news!
Lindsay got the job she wanted so badly.
So proud of my girl.
The job is in Iowa ans she starts August 1, so this means
a road trip for me.
The weather hasn't been too great the last couple days.
So, I've stayed inside and hooked.
This is the latest rug I've hooked, the design is by Susan Hart.

I wanted to show everyone a picture of my yellow
Azalea bush. It smells so good, the flowers don't
last long. Tom's grandma planted here, it's very old.
Lindsay's baby, Monte, is getting big.
He is so sweet!!
I get to watch him this weekend.
Have a great day!!
