September PHM Update
It is time for our September Primitive Handmade Mercantile update. You can click on the picture on the side to go there. Fall is in full swing here in Ohio. Tom has all of our crops harvested. Even though it was a drought year, we have plenty of feed for all of our heifers.
My rug is a design from Lori Brechlin~ Notforgotten Farms. It's from one of her out of print booklets.
Have a great weekend!

Black Pumpkin and A Black Cat
I'm settling into the fact that it is September. I do like the cooler weather of fall, it's what comes after. I won't think about it. Ha! Anyways, I bought this pattern at a hookin this year. It is a design by Maria Barton-Star Rug Company. I have always admired the same rug that Lori Rippey has in her home. It was fun to hook.
Our cat, Lou, has been setting boundaries with our new puppy, Grady. Lou rules the roost around here. Our Golden Retrievers are scared of him. I had to take a picture, he didn't like it. Have a great day!

September
We are getting rain and lots of it. Last night Tom checked the rain gauge and we had more rain last night then the entire summer. Hurricanes usually are drought busters!!
I finished this rug last night. The design is out of one of Tonya Robey-Madhen Primitives little booklets. I have been waiting to use a dyed piece of wool that I dyed awhile back. It worked out perfectly for this rug. Enjoy the rest of the weekend! Julie
