~*Primitive Patriotic Hooked Rug*~

It was a BEAUTIFUL day in Ohio today, not a cloud in the sky. I got alot of planting done today. Planted tomatoes in my garden, hopefully tommorrow I can plant the rest of the garden.

I just listed this rug on Ebay tonight. It was hooked by me and is a Polly Minick design. The pattern is from her book The Americana Collection. I didn't hook the pattern exactly like the pattern, changed it a little.

~Iris, Hostas, and Peonies~

I've noticed this year how nice everyone's Irises are. Here are a couple pictures of mine.


Hostas are so pretty this time of year. The leaves have just opened and they look so fresh. As you can see I love Hostas, it has taken me years to collect lots different ones.

In the front of our house we have a Yellow Azalea bush. It is very old, Tom's grandma planted it years ago. It smells so good, usually there are alot more blooms. I'll take what we have, we had a very cold winter.

Where did last week go? I have been working in my flower beds spreading mulch. There are still lots of things I need to do but, the mulch is no. 1. It really cuts down on the weeds, so that saves so much time for me.

~Primitive Sunflower 1861 Rug~

I can't believe how fast last week went by. I just listed this rug on Ebay tonight. It was hand hooked by me and the design is a Kindred Spirits design. I love the way it turned out.

We got mulch Friday so, I'm going to be spreading mulch this week. Today I worked outside all day in my flower beds, hope I can get out of bed tommorrow. LOL! Hope everyone has a great week!!

~Shopping For Flowers~

Aren't these flowers so pretty?

Today I met my sister and mom to go buy flowers. We went to an Amish community where there are several greenhouses. . We had a great time!! Each greenhouse had something different and lots to choose from. As you can see I wouldn't of been able to fit anything else in my car. Can't wait to get out and plant everything.

~Sampler Hooked Rug~

Can you believe it's May?? I love spring and I'm so glad it's finally here!! I listed this rug on Ebay tonight. The design is Blackbird Design~Nuts and Berries. It was fun to hook. There was a little glitch though, after I finished the rug I noticed 3 letters were missing from the alphabet. I went back and looked at the pattern and the letters were missing from the pattern. I fixed it and it all worked out. Hope everyone has a great week.
