~Thrift Store Find~
Today my mom and I hit the thrift stores in Columbus. I can't believe I found this for $8.50!!!! I love it and have always wanted one. It has a lid and it has a chip on the handle, that's ok though. There aren't any other cracks or chips. I cleaned it up and it doesn't leak. I had to show this off. LOL!

~Spring Plowing~
Today is the first day of plowing.
It was a beautiful day in Ohio. The sun was shining all day but, it was chilly. My husband hooked up to the chisel plow and started turning dirt. I followed him out in the field on the 4-wheeler and took some pictures.
Lindsay is still in Florida on spring break. Danny just got home this afternoon from Alabama, he was at the ATVA Motocross Nationals. My oldest son Tommy will be moving next Saturday to West Virginia where he will be starting a new job. There's always someone coming or going here.

~Rug Hooking Magazine~
I'm so excited, my rug is in the Rug Hooking Magazine. Maria Barton~Star Rug Company started a rug challenge in PRHG. We had to choose between a snowman or sheep pattern, I chose the snowman. Each member sent Maria 200 strips of wool in bundles of 5 strips. Then Maria sent back the bundles from each member to each one of us. We had to use all the colors in our rug~no cheating and dyeing the wool. After we were finshed Maria posted the pictures on Photobucket and everyone voted. I got 3rd place in my category. Maria wrote an article in RHG about the challenge and the pictures of our rugs are in the magazine. Thanks Maria!! It was a fun challenge.

~The First Sign Of Spring♥~
I took a picture of these spring flowers in my yard today. They are crocuses. It will be 28 years I have lived in this house and these flowers have bloomed every spring. Grandma Butler planted these flowers years and years ago, when they start blooming it's spring.
Tonight we turn our clocks ahead.

~Favorite Flowers~
Hostas are one of my favorite flowers. Hostas are so hardy and it amazes me every year when they start to sprout up out of the ground in the spring. I enjoy watching them unfold their leaves and turn into beautiful plants. I collect them for the leaves and colors of the plants. I love the huge ones like Sum and Substance or Sum IT Up. I have friends that collect different Hostas for their names. For example there are patriotic names like, Liberty, Patriot, Minutemen, etc..
One of my favorite flowers are Gloriosa Daisies. I have grown them from seed but, they seed down from the year before.
Last summer I had really good luck with these flowers, Osteosperum.
A few years ago one of my friends rented a drill and drilled into the sand stone. It is great to plant sedums in.

~Silos and Jerseys~
Here is a picture of some Jersey cattle on our farm. The pastures are so green compared to what they are now. I like Jersey cattle and I also like Brown Swiss, they are gentle. The heifers we have on our farm are dairy cattle.
Today I have been going through all my pictures on my laptop. I have too many pictures on my computer and it was running slow. It has taken alot of time deleting files and reorganizing files. I found a picture of our silos that I took last summer. We used both of these silos when Tom and I milked cows. The silos were used to hold our corn silage and haylage to feed our cows. Tom would harvest our corn and hay and fill the silos. I'm so glad that we don't have to use them anymore. It seems like there was always something the matter with them and Tom would have to climb up the ladder to fix the problem. It was scary and I was always afraid something would happen. They do look pretty awesome though.
